This mouthwatering Yorkshire Pudding is a quintessential British dish! No traditional British Sunday Roast would be complete without a tasty Yorkshire Pudding. This delicious dish us usually served with roast beef or prime rib and perfect dipped in a brown gravy. These puddings are light and crispy and are best eaten right out of the oven.
Yorkshire Pudding
Ingredients
1 cup and 1 Tbsp all purpose flour
4 eggs
3/4 cup and 1 Tbsp milk
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
12 tsp vegetable oil or butter flavored crisco
Instructions
Combine flour, eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined but don't overmix, lumps are ok. Refrigerate batter for at least one hour or overnight. In a muffin tin add 1 tsp of oil or crisco to each cup. Place muffin tin in a preheated oven at 425 degree for 10 minutes. Evenly pour batter into hot muffin cups. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
