Some of my favorite meals are made in one skillet! I love how easy they are to make and clean up. This one skillet Taco Spaghetti is so delicious and hearty. It combines the flavors of chili with spaghetti, which may sound like an odd combination, but don't knock it till you try it.
Taco Spaghetti
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese
1 can fire roasted diced tomatoes
1 can chili beans
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 package taco seasoning
2 to 2 1/2 cups water
1 pound spaghetti
1 green onion, chopped (optional topping)
Instructions
In a large skillet cook ground beef with onions, peppers, and garlic until beef is completely cooked through. Add taco seasoning, tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili beans, water, and spaghetti. Stir until everything is mixed well. Cover and cook until spaghetti is tender, stirring frequently. You may need to add more water. Take off the heat and stir in half of the cheese. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and chopped green onion.
