Poor Man's Stew is a budget friendly meal made with ground beef that costs less than $2 per serving! It's absolutely delicious, and very simple to make. This stew is hearty, warm, and comforting.
Poor Man's Stew
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 1/2 pounds of baby potatoes
1 small onion, diced
1 to 2 celery stalks, diced
1/2 pound baby carrots, cut in half
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup beef broth
6 oz. can tomato paste
1 tsp dried thyme
2 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Cook ground beef until browned, and then add to slow cooker. Add the rest of the ingredients. Cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or low for 4 to 6 hours.
