Slow Cooker Chocolate Cobbler



Oh my this Slow Cooker Chocolate Cobbler is scrumptious!! The cake is light and fluffy with a rich and fudgy sauce below. Served with ice cream make this dessert an absolutely perfect treat! You can also bake this cake in the oven for a quicker result. This is always a hit in my home! Chocolate Cobbler


Ingredients

Step 1

1/2 stick of melted butter


Step 2

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

1 cup sugar

1 Tbsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

3 Tbsp cocoa

3/4 cup milk

1/2 stick of melted butter


Step 3

3/4 cup brown sugar

1 1/2 Tbsp cocoa


Step 4

1 1/2 cups boiling water


Instructions


Step 1: Pour melted butter into slow cooker.

Step 2: In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, cocoa, melted butter, and milk, stir until smooth. Pour into the slow cooker over the melted butter. Batter is thick.

Step 3: In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cocoa. Sprinkle over the batter, and do not stir.

Step 4: Pour boiling water on top of everything and again do not stir. Cook on high for 2 to 3 hours or low for 3 to 4 hours. Serve with ice cream, if desired.
