One Skillet Chili Mac




This One Skillet Chili Mac is a delicious combination of mac and cheese and chili! I love meals that can be made in one skillet and this one is comforting and hearty. Cheesy macaroni mixed with ground beef, peppers, onions, and beans. So if you want something quick and filling give this recipe a try!


One Skillet Chili Mac


Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds of ground beef (you can use ground turkey or chicken also)

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup chopped green pepper

3 garlic cloves minced

2 cups elbow macaroni

15 oz. can of kidney beans

10 oz. can of diced tomatoes with green chilies

3 cups beef broth

1/4 cup half and half (you can use milk or heavy cream also)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

You can also use a chili or taco seasoning packet


Instructions

Add ground beef to a large skillet and cook until browned. Add the rest of the ingredients, except half and half and cheese, and stir together. Cover and cook for 15 to 20 minutes. Add half and half and then begin to gradually mix in the cheese.
