These meatballs are not your average Italian Meatball, oh no, they are stuffed with creamy mozzarella cheese. The meatballs are so tender and juicy and full of flavor. You just can't beat a good old meatball in sauce over spaghetti.
Mozzarella Stuffed Italian Meatballs
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound Italian sausage
8 oz. container of fresh mozzarella balls
1 egg
2 Tbsp milk
1 tsp dried minced onion
1 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp dried parsley
1/2 cup plain bread crumbs
pinch of salt and pepper
Instructions
In a large bowl mix together ground beef, sausage, egg, milk, bread crumbs, and seasoning. Take a spoonful of meat mixture and flatten in your hand. Place a mozzarella ball into the center of the flattened meat and form meat around the cheese. Place meatball onto a greased sheet tray. Bake in a 425 degree oven for 15 minutes.
