Kielbasa Skillet Dinner

My favorite, quick and easy, weeknight dinners are made in one skillet. I love to use whatever vegetables and meat I have on hand to create a delicious meal my family will enjoy. One skillet and one pan meals are extremely versatile which is wonderful for those busy evenings when you don't have much time to spend in the kitchen. And this Kielbasa Skillet Dinner is definitely one of those kind of meals!

Kielbasa Skillet Dinner

1 pound smoked kielbasa sausage

1 pound baby golden potatoes cut in half

1 pound of fresh green beans (or 2 cans drained)

1 yellow onion

salt and pepper to taste

1 1/2 to 2 cups chicken broth

for seasoning you can use any type you prefer. I used a blend of onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, red pepper flakes

Place kielbasa that has been sliced into pieces into a hot skillet along with chopped onion and cook until onion is translucent and sausage begins to brown. Add the rest of the ingredients then cover and allow to cook for 15 to 20 minutes until potatoes are fork tender. Other vegetable options Cabbage, bell peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, zucchini
