Italian Green Beans with Potatoes

These Italian Green Beans with Potatoes are not your average green beans. They are loaded with flavor and are so hearty and satisfying. Serve along side your favorite dish or take to your next family gathering.

Italian Green Beans with Potatoes


1 (14 oz.) can of green beans

1 (14 oz.) can of diced tomatoes

1/2 pound baby potatoes, sliced in half

1 small sweet onion, sliced

1 garlic clove, minced

1 bacon slice, cut into pieces

1/2 tsp dried oregano

1/2 tsp dried basil

1/2 tsp dried thyme

salt and pepper


Combine all ingredients into a large sauce pot. Fill the empty tomato can with water and pour over green bean mixture. Cook for an hour or until potatoes are tender.
