Homemade Rice O Roni

Rice O Roni


2 cups chicken broth

1/2 cup white rice

2 oz. (roughly

1/3 cup) thin spaghetti broken into 1 inch pieces

2 tbsp butter

1/4 tsp ground tumeric (optional)

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp dried thyme

1 tsp minced onion

1 tsp dried parsley

pinch of salt


Melt butter in a large sauce pot. Add rice and pasta to butter and cook for a couple of minutes until you get a slight toasty smell. Add broth, and seasoning. Cover and cook on medium low heat for 10 to 15 minutes.
