French Onion Dip
Ingredients
2 large sweet onions
2 tbsp butter
salt and pepper to taste
16 oz. container of sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp Worchestershire sauce
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
2 tbsp chopped fresh chives
Instructions
1. Slice onions into thinly and add to a skillet with butter. Cook on medium low heat, stirring frequently. Season with salt and pepper. This will take about 15 to 20 minutes. Onions should be golden brown in color.
2. Combine caramelized onions, sour cream, mayonnaise, worchestershire sauce, parsley, chives, and an additional pinch of salt to a food processor and blend until smooth.
3. Pour into a storage container and keep in refrigerator. 4. Serve with potato chips or fresh veggies.
