
If you love an everything bagel then you have got to try this breakfast casserole! It has all the flavors of a everything bagel with cream cheese and combines it with egg, bacon, and cheese. This casserole is perfect for Christmas morning or any morning really! It is hearty and satisfying and feeds a crowd.
Everything Bagel Breakfast Casserole
Ingredients
5 everything bagels cut into cubes
10 eggs
1 (8 oz.) package of cream cheese
1 cup shredded gruyere cheese
2 cups milk (I use 2 %)
1/2 cup heavy cream
8 oz. bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup green onion, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Cut bagels into cubes and place in a greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Combine eggs, milk, heavy cream, and salt and pepper. Pour over bagels. Cut cream cheese into cubes and scatter over bagels. Sprinkle cheese and crumbled bacon and half of green onion. Cover and refrigerate for an hour or overnight. Bake in a 350 degree oven, covered for 30 minutes and uncovered for 10 to 15 minutes until egg is completely cooked through in the center.
