A simple and memorable recipe for Dijon and Brown Sugar Pork Tenderloin with just a few basic ingredients to create a meal your family will love. The pork is so tender and you end up with a delicious sweet and tangy glaze with a touch of spice from the black pepper.
Dijon and Brown Sugar Pork Tenderloin
Ingredients
2 pound pork tenderloin
2 to 3 Tbsp Dijon mustard
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 Tbsp corn starch
Instructions
Brush the entire pork tenderloin with the Dijon mustard (you can also use yellow mustard). Combine brown sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Sprinkle mixture over pork tenderloin. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes until pork is completely cooked through. I prefer to cook my pork tenderloin in a foil pouch on a baking tray. Remove pork tenderloin from baking pouch and slice. Pour the dripping into a small sauce pot and add corn starch. Bring to a boil until thickens. Pour glaze over sliced pork.
