Condensed Milk Dinner Rolls

These are the best dinner rolls you will ever make! They are super soft and fluffy, and very easy to make. This will be a recipe to treasure and keep for many years.

Condensed Milk Dinner Rolls

Ingredients

3 1/4 cup all purpose flour

1 tbsp quick active yeast

1 tsp salt

1 cup milk

1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

1 egg

2 oz. butter, softened (4 tbsp)

egg wash: 1 egg with 2 tbsp milk

glaze: 3 tbsp sweetened condensed milk and 1 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

In a large bowl combine flour, yeast, and salt, and stir. Add warm milk (warm not hot), egg, and condensed milk and stir until a dough forms. Begin adding softened butter one tablespoon at a time, working it into the dough. Dough will be sticky. Transfer dough to a separate bowl that has been lightly greased with non-stick spray or oil. Gently kneed dough slightly, folding it over, until you have a round smooth dough. Cover and let rise for 2 hours or until it doubles in size. Punch down dough and place onto a floured surface. Pinch dough to form a roll, around 2.5 to 3 oz. in weight, and in a circular motion roll the dough to make a smooth round roll. Place each roll in a baking dish, either a 8x8 or 7x11, and cover and let rise for another 30 minutes. Brush each roll with egg wash. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. When rolls come out of the oven brush with butter or a condensed milk glaze.
