April Fools Deviled Eggs (Dessert)

You don't have to worry about the shells sticking with these Deviled Eggs. I love this fun and delicious way to make your family and friends do a double take. I hope you try this recipe and let me know how people respond to them. Thanks for watching and have a great day! April Fools Deviled Eggs

What you need:

2 12oz bags of white chocolate chips

Vanilla frosting

Red colored sugar

White Cake Mix

Instructions:

Follow directions on the back of the box to make the cake. Bake and let cool completely. Crumble the cake into a large bowl. Add two to three heaping tablespoons of store bought frosting and mix together until you can form balls with the cake mixture. Form the cake into the shape of an egg (I use the plastic Easter Eggs that come apart length wise as a mold). Place the molded egg on a sheet tray lined with parchment paper and place into the freezer for at least 30 minutes to harden. While eggs are in the freezer melt the white chocolate chips and add 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in the microwave, one minute at a time stirring in between. Dip the eggs in the chocolate and place back on the tray lined with parchment paper smooth side up. Add a couple drops of yellow food coloring to the frosting and put in a piping bag or ziplock with a cake decorating tip, but not necessary. After the chocolate is set pipe the frosting on the egg and then sprinkle with red colored sugar.
